Research Interests:My research interest focus on the interactions between land use, transportation, and human behavior. Currently, I have several projects that examine the following topical areas (1) environmental and psychological factors that influence pedestrian trip generation and route choices; (2) design for pedestrian safety; (3) connections between the built environment and levels of physical activity; (4) influence of highway investments on business activity and location decisions; (5) social equity implications of transportation planning and investments.
